RELIEF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE: Before starting, completely lower all attachments to the ground. Start the engine, turn the key off, and move the hydraulic control levers in all directions to relieve any residual system pressure.
DISCONNECT BATTERY: ALWAYS disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts, shocks, or accidental activation during installation.
CLEANLINESS IS CRITICAL: Hydraulic systems are extremely sensitive to contamination. Thoroughly clean the area around the valve group before disassembly and cap all open ports immediately.

Preparation:
Park the machine on a level, stable surface. Engage the safety lockout.
Gather necessary tools, new hydraulic seals/O-rings, and a clean container for any fluid drainage.
Removal of Old Valve Group:
Take clear, well-lit photographs of all electrical connections and hydraulic hose/pipe arrangements before disconnecting anything.
Label each electrical connector and hydraulic line with tape to ensure correct reinstallation.
Carefully disconnect all electrical connectors.
Loosen and remove the hydraulic connections. Be prepared for some fluid spillage.
Unbolt and remove the old valve group.
Installation of New COGENG Valve Group:
Transfer any necessary brackets or fittings from the old assembly to the new COGENG SV-KOB-GD-0039F1.
Install new seals or O-rings (if provided or required) on all connection points.
Position the new valve group and secure it with the bolts, torquing to specification.
Reconnect all hydraulic lines and fittings to their correct ports as per your labels/photos.
Reconnect all electrical connectors, ensuring they are fully seated and locked.
Final Verification and Testing:
Before starting, double-check that all connections are secure and correct.
Reconnect the battery.
Start the engine and let it idle. Do not immediately operate hydraulics.
Check carefully around the valve group and all connections for any hydraulic leaks.
Slowly and carefully operate each hydraulic function through its full range. This will help bleed air from the system.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and top up if necessary.
RECOMMENDATION: For specific torque values and detailed procedures, always consult the official Kobelco service manual for your exact machine model. If you are unfamiliar with hydraulic system repairs, it is highly recommended to have this installation performed by a qualified technician.
