RELIEF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE: Completely lower the attachment to the ground. Turn the engine off and slowly operate all hydraulic control levers through their full range to dissipate any residual system pressure.
DISCONNECT POWER SOURCE: ALWAYS disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. On larger M-9 series machines, ensure any main power disconnect switches are turned off to prevent electrical shock or short circuits.
MAINTAIN IMPECCABLE CLEANLINESS: The M-9 Series hydraulic system is precision-engineered and highly sensitive to contamination. Thoroughly clean the valve area before disassembly and use caps or plugs on all open ports immediately.

Preparation:
Park the excavator on a firm, level surface in a safe location. Lower all attachments and engage all safety locks.
Gather clean tools, appropriate wrenches, and a supply of new seals or O-rings.
Removal of Old Solenoid Valves:
Take clear, well-lit photographs and label all electrical connectors and hydraulic lines corresponding to each valve (YN17M00053F1 and YN17M00054F1).
Disconnect the electrical connectors from both solenoids.
Using the correct tools, carefully loosen and remove the hydraulic connections. Control any fluid spillage.
Unbolt and remove the faulty valves.
Installation of New COGENG Valve Pair:
Identify the correct COGENG valve (SV-KOB-M9-PAIR includes both) for each location based on your labels and photos.
Install the new valves into their respective mounts, ensuring they are properly seated.
Reconnect the hydraulic lines to their correct ports, using new seals and torquing to specification.
Reconnect the electrical connectors, ensuring a positive "click" to confirm a secure connection.
Final Verification and System Check:
Before reconnecting the battery, perform a meticulous final inspection. Verify all connections are secure, correct, and free from leaks.
Reconnect the battery and power source.
Start the engine and let it idle. Immediately check for any hydraulic leaks around the new valves.
Slowly operate all hydraulic functions through their full range to bleed air from the system. Monitor for smooth operation and the absence of error codes on the monitor.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and top up with the correct grade of oil if necessary.
