WARNING: Ergonomic & Slipping Hazards with Bulk Container
Lifting Hazard: The TY22029 2.5-gallon container weighs over 20 lbs (9 kg) . Use proper lifting technique (bend knees, keep back straight). Do not attempt to pour directly from this heavy jug into a small engine fill tube without a pump.
Slipping Hazard: Bulk jugs are prone to "glugging" (uneven air intake) during pouring, causing sudden surges of oil. This can easily overflow a small engine crankcase. Mandatory Tool: Use a Fluid Transfer Pump (Hand Pump) or John Deere TY26514 Spout .
Storage Stability: Once the foil seal is broken, the oil in a partially used TY22029 jug will absorb moisture from humid air over time. If storing for >6 months, seal tightly and store in a dry, temperature-stable location.
