Dimension Verification: Prior to any work, confirm the cylinder's rod and bore dimensions match this kit (40mm rod, 75mm bore) using precise measuring tools.
Safe Depressurization & Support: Relieve all hydraulic system pressure and mechanically support the cylinder or implement before disassembly.
Clean Room Standards: Perform all work in an impeccably clean environment to prevent contamination, which is the leading cause of seal failure.
Documented Disassembly & Inspection: Carefully disassemble the cylinder. Photograph the order of components. Inspect all metal parts (rod, bore, piston, gland) for scoring, pitting, or excessive wear. Replace damaged parts.
