Park excavator on level ground, lower attachment to ground
Engage parking brake and implement all safety locks
Turn ignition to OFF position and remove key
Disconnect negative battery terminal first
Wait 10 minutes for system capacitors to discharge
Clean throttle motor area thoroughly to prevent contamination
Installation Steps:Document existing throttle motor configuration and connections
Carefully disconnect electrical connector and mounting hardware
Clean throttle linkage and mounting surface completely
Install new COGENG throttle motor using proper torque specifications (8-12 Nm)
Connect electrical connector ensuring positive engagement
Verify smooth throttle linkage movement without binding
Calibration & Testing:Reconnect battery and initialize system
Perform throttle calibration procedure per excavator service manual
Test throttle response through complete operational range
Verify proper engine speed control at all throttle positions
Check for diagnostic trouble codes using Cat ET software
Test under actual operating conditions to confirm performance
