1. Remove Old Valve
Depressurize hydraulic system
Disconnect battery negative terminal first
Unplug wiring harness
Unscrew valve body counterclockwise (Max torque: ≤35 N·m)
2. Install New Valve
Apply Molykote G-5002 (included) on threads
Step-torque tightening sequence:
Stage 1: 15 N·m
Stage 2: 30 N·m
Final: 42 ±3 N·m
3. Wiring Calibration
Terminal A: CAN_H (Yellow) → Gateway Port J1939-12
Terminal B: CAN_L (Green) → Gateway Port J1939-13
Terminal C: 24V+ (Red) → Fuse Box #24 (30A)
Terminal D: GND (Black) → Chassis Ground Point
Pre-Start Verification
Measure resistance between terminals:
C↔D: 10Ω ±0.5Ω @ 20°C
A↔B: 120Ω (CAN termination)
Post-Install Test
Start engine → Verify CAN signal:
KOMTRAX Tool: PGN 65263 ≥ 80% signal strength
Monitor hydraulic ripple:
Acceptable range: < ±0.3 MPa @ idle
